FOUNDED IN GRAND RAPIDS
William J. Kennedy founded the company in Grand Rapids, Michigan, as "H.B. Feather Co." to represent the innovative “hot blast” technology used in down feather mattresses.
1910+
REINTRODUCE OURSELVES
The company name changed to "Grand Rapids Bedding" to capture the growing collection of mattresses and materials.

nATIONAL PARTNERSHIP
Grand Rapids Bedding plays a leading role in launching the Spring Air brand & begins manufacturing mattresses as its first licensee
